With the Arizona Fall League kicking off in a few short days I decided to write a preview. I originally was going to do six previews, one of each team, but surely you’ve read one or two of those already. I did this exercise a few years ago back in the early days of Prospects Live and it was one of the more fun articles I’ve ever written. This year I sat down and ranked all 93 hitters, and solicited the help of Rhys White to help me with the rankings and he submitted his list as well. This list is generally a combination of both lists but I did move some guys up and down based on my findings. There’s no scientific method to the rankings here, I just pretty much ranked them 1-to-93 in the order I would draft them if they were all suddenly made available to me.

I also have a sheet here where you can find these rankings as well as a clean Google doc with rosters, rule five information and other relevant things I may add in the next month or so. I’ll be doing a pitching version of this soon, but it will not be ranking all players, likely just a top 30 or so with writeups. Look for that in a day or so.
